Default CAI, Short Ram, or Drop in filter? on 97 ITR

I have had mixed opinions on all 3 options, and I would like some feedback to help me make the best choice. What are most guys running on their ITR's?

I run a stock airbox & elbow with the K&N that requires cutting away the old stock filter from the plastic collar. It'll save you about $30 and you get to tear stuff up.(Sorry that was a terrible description)

The filter you want is the RU-2820. It universal but you cut the end of the stock one off and screw it to the end of the K & N so the tab will fit into the airbox to support it.

I'll look for old photos for you.

In the meantime, search the ITR archives for air filter, there's tons of stuff.
