Well, im in the middle of installing some cams and i have run into some trouble. While torquing down the cam cap bolts, 2 of them have snapped. I know its not my torque wrench, as they snapped using 2 different torque wrenches. My question is, do i need to replace all these bolts? i dont think they have ever been out before, but i really need some help here guys. Thanks in advance!!

 

I would replace them all if they are out. If two have snapped, how many more will...

make sure you are doing them evenly or else they will snap.

You sure you set the torque wrench to FT/LBS and not IN/LBS?

 

Thanks guys, i got it figured out. I wasnt tightening them in steps like i should have!
