ok, I need some clarification here

my car is a my 2004 6mt tsx

the head on my car says rbb-1 stamped in the side of it and all the other 2004 6mt cars I've seen say rbb-2 on them

the rsx type S I looked at had rbb-1 stamped on it also..

since I got my car used there is a chance that I have a different head on there and I'm wondering if it's just a change through the model year or possibly an rsx type S head

my question is, does anyone know the markings on the heads of the different K series motors, or what do your heads say on them? the stamps are on the drivers side of the head

Not entirely sure, but your head is not swappable with teh RSX-S head because of the electronic throttle system on the TSX.

 

as far as i know the tsx head is the same as the rsx type-s, except that is has provision for the egr. it supports teh same style of vtec and cams as teh type s head as well. i thnk you are worrying abotu nothing....

I'm not worried and I know the heads are similar, however I want to know why my car has something on it and I've never seen another tsx with the same headcode

mabye it's some super secret voodoo head, oh well mabye i"ll never know
