i honestly dont know whats wrong. i got a new swap in. chnaged the head gasket, torqued everything right...

anyways,

when i try to start the car, you can only hear the starter spinning. The timing belt moves, so i know im good there. I have spark, i pulled a plug wire while trying to start it, and i had spark. fuel, im pretty sure its not a fuel problem, i can smell it.

Timing, timing is set at TDC so you can cross that out. ive tried moving the distributor forward and back. No progress. tried putting starting fluid. NOpe, still no worky.

any of you guys have any tips, advice?

 

Did you check your ignition coil.

 

never mind, guys. took oof the head and 2 valves were cracked open, leaking out air and stuff. i put new valve seals, and adjusted the valves and now i have no use for this head.

I hope user b19coupe can refund me, or replace the head. Im not a mechanic or anything like that, so i couldnt tell if the head was fucked up. He told me it was good

This sucks. Now my addventure for a new head begins, i guess my car is going to be up on jackstands for another month * sigh*
