I'm interested in how it looks and how gutted you guys run your Rs. I've heard people go as far as removing head liner. Please post your pics. Thank you.
the concept of gutting a car (especially daily driven)-something i will never understand
why not drive a tin can? haha. oh well

did you R come like that in the back with no sound proofing material, or did you clean up the metal...it just looks really clean and glossy...

No sunroof, cruise control, and among other things you get no sound proofing material.

That's what my integra looked like just to get to the rear speakers on the car stereo install. What a pain in the *** but the new speakers and good tunes paid off.
I've got no headliner, no carpet, no interior trim pieces, etc. Just about the only thing in the car is the dash, front seats, and doorpanels. And to the guy that said he doesn't see the point on a daily driven car, please do a search and see what happened to ThePunk's ITR... Also, the car is ready for autox and track without a lot of hassles.
P.S. I'll try to take some pics later.

Damn that last pic is guttttttted. No wonder he's running 14.0xxxx at the track with only intake.
Damn, I'd do that if my R wasn't a daily driver... and I thought I gutted mine mildly...
All I do is remove my rear seats and spare/jack.

Yeah I was kind of unsure about the other panels and didn't want to break anything. Besides it only took a few minutes , and I drive around with it like this alot of the time.
Anyone have pics of removed headliner?

how is the noise level in your r with no interior? i'm going to put an autopower roll bar in my car and i think i'll just leave the interior bits in the storage room.
I can sure hear everything that is hitting my car thats for sure, but the noise level is not that bad at all. A little more echo to the inside but thats about it. No problem for a street driven car.
You car isn't that loud cuz it's not gutted. That's no more gutted than my E30 M3 used to be til I threw a backseat in it
A gutted ITR is LOUD. Sand sounds like boulders, and gravel, well... Also, when it's gutted an AEM CAI is REALLY loud. It's the only thing you can hear when you're in VTEC. Forget about having a conversation in VTEC.

Hey he asked and I told him. I can believe it would be much louder with everthing removed, but he was talking about the pieces removed when doing a roll bar install.
