Umm..it snows in Idaho rite??..keep the plastics...helps protects the car from rust and other ****..if ur re-enforcement bar is bent, replace it....too much modifacation on a 92-95 lip to fit onto a 88-91 CRX/EF
and i was woundering if there was pictures any were on how to remove a front ed bumper. I never have and need to see if im missing any hardware to put a new one back on.
the bumper mounts all the way accross that frame that is tweaked on your passenger side. You would normally remove the lower blinkers and stick a socket with an extension in there and remove 2 bolts per side. There are 2 screws on either side by the fender, and usually 2 maybe more bolts that hold the under plastic up that have to be removed. Does that help? sorry, no pics but if you have your bumper from teh crash, you should be able to look at it and see where most things used to mount. Oh yeah theres a big styrofoam piece that goes inbetween the bumper cover and the metal bumper frame.
here, hang on..

The part near the fender is 2 pieces and you are missing the piece that attaches to the corner of the bumper. They are adjustable to help locate the bumper. the one circled in the center, there are bolts to be removed to take that big bar off the front.

this shows the other side missing the same piece, but the other marks represent points where the bumper has bolts to hold it on. THe arrows are meant to represent underneath the car, and the little slashes represent these little fasteners that hold the plastic bumper cover to the main crash support/bumper. You look to be missing that piece also which may be attached to the bumper. I dont know how junkyards are around you, but I have see most if not all of those parts available that way. let me know that only confuses you and I'll try to explain better. I also am willing to bet someone else has something better to explain it. HTH.

that would be sweet, ya i wish i would of taken it off at least once so i knew what i was missing. Ya from what i read from somewere else there was only like 8 bolts that hold it on. But oh well bumper coming in soon.
My friend crashed his CRX last week, and the whole front bumper was gone + the radiator is now leaking. I already bought the radiator and the bumper today so we are going to work on it this weekend. The frame is bent so it will take us time to fix the CRX.
