squeaky clutch pedal?

Just a quick question. My clutch pedal sounds like a squeaky door when i push it in. Can i just use some spray lubricant on the pedal hinge or will that screw anything up?

It won't stay quiet like that. Replace the cable, I did mine and the squeak went away.

my squeeked. I just sprayed some lithium grease where the clutch cable connects to the pedal...never squeeked since.

it sounds like it could be ur cable clutch..mine did the same and after a while it just snapped..replaced it and no more noise
