does anyone know what airbox that is. I know its not a type-r. my guess was b16? also does this airbox have any advantages over the stock type-r one?

figuring that's a b156 yeah... but i wouldn't see why it would have an advantage.

Hmm...looks like a LS/VTEC, JDM 4-1, Spoon Strut tower bar and a b16 airbox.

And how do you figure an Ls/Vtec? Looks like a Gsr motor w/ ITR/S2 intake manifold, and yes, jdm 4-1.

Looks like a 98+ B18C ITR motor with a black valve cover and a 99+ Si airbox in a 96+ Civic.

Hey wait, that's Jackson's car.

Why didn't you just ask him?

The stock ITR airbox is better, but most people use the 99+ Si airbox in 96+ Civics.

Notice how there are 2 plugs on the intake arm, one is for the 02 sensor, and i know that my friends EX has that. But it's most likely a b16 because there are only 2, instead of 3.

It is definatly a 99-00 SI airbox and intake tube it is Identical to mine. I figure it is a GSR motor with ITR intake manifold and SI intake tube and box.

GSR motor with ITR intake manifold
No one in their right mind would hack up an ITR manifold just to bolt it onto a GSR head ever since Skunk2 intake manifolds became readily available.
