My Greddy SP has blown baffles and it's making funky noises. I can keep the b-pipe, but the muffler has to go. The closest match will be the left offset WS universal.

Does anyone have a picture of the Apex'i WS universal muffler with the left offset tip?

here is a pic but its not what you want. this is a very old rare exhaust called the apexi rs. its what the ws was before it was the ws.

 

sucks about the sp, happened to mine too, started rattling really bad like the insulation in the muffler was breaking down

 

Friend here in Poky has the WS on his EM1, it rattles a lil, maybe the insulation is breaking down on his too.

 

insulation breaking down? i have an rsr ex mag and it sounds like theres a small rock inside rolling around when im at a light or idling maybe this is what you guys are talking about? i sure hope not

same problem with my boys as we speak man, and his **** got real raspy all the sudden, like you said, it sounds like something is lose in there as well.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. It sounds like a few pebbles rattling around. Mine also whistles under accelleration, between 2k and 3k rpms. I took it to a shop for a leak test, and it turns out the insulation on the inside is having exhaust gases pass through it, causing the whistle.

 

i thought the pipe came out on the left on all the WS. mines the full cb.

That may be on all the cat-backs, but I'm looking for the WS Universal muffler. On the cat-backs for the 4-door integras, the tip sticks out further because of the trunk and the extra 2 doors in the rear. I'm not sure if the universal muffler has the same elongated tip design. Know what I mean?

I think they're only intended for factory turbo cars like DSMs and such.
