Default Has anyone ported a Skunk 2 IM? p72 head..

The reason I ask this is cause I'm planing on porting either a stock gsr intake manifold or my skunk 2 manifold I have on currently. Which do you think would be more worth while? After seeing the gain the TSR integra got from porting the IM, I leaning towards doing this. My head is fully ported so I presume it would use the extra cfm while maintaining air velocity. What do you think?

Port the Skunk 2 manifold. Endyn ported a Skunk manifold with great results. I will post the link if I can find it.

I thought Endyn did a full write up on the ported manifold. If not they at least talk about it in this link and show some before/during/after pics. http://www.theoldone.com/articles/badtothebone/

...Thanks for the link. I always thought it was an R manifold that they ported.

I plan on starting this soon considering the car is parked now(winter).

yo, with the cams you have, you'll lose power. you'll need a higher lift cam to aid with the added cfm from hogging out that im.

Understood. I'm considering getting some different cams but I'm not 100% sure yet as funds are low. I would like to cut up this mani and start porting it. I wonder if the duration on the bc3+ will make up for the mild lift.

Is anyone running a mild lift cam with a ported IM, with any sucess? Results?
