getting 4th gen jdm fogs to work?
ok i've posted at hp.com and po.com, but nobody's responding. i'm hoping someone here can give me an idea...here goes...
i just got my wiring for my jdm fogs. everything is oem honda. i have:
switch
subharness
relay
apparently, this is all you need to get your fogs working. except mine don't work. in mine (a 92), there's a 4 pin brown connector under the dash. you plug the subharness into that. ok fine.
then the relay plugs into the other end of the harness. ok got that.
then you ground the relay using the bolt to hold the cruise control unit to the chassis. ok did that just fine.
then up top, there's a 10 pin connector (green) that feeds up behind the tweeter grill. ok i found that. that connector is all that plugs into the switch.
plugged it in, turned on the car, but i couldn't even get the led to come on. there's no power getting to it!
i checked for a fuse - there's a 15A fuse in the kickpanel fuse box. that's there and intact. i checked under the hood and there's no additional fuse. just a big 40A relay for the lighting and 2 20A fuses for each headlight.
what am i missing? i can't figure out which of your harnesses is cut and why. on mine, everything plugged up, but i'm getting no power to anything? can anyone help?

you might have clipped into the security system part of the harness, double check where that brown connector is, the security system uses a 4pin brown connector right around the same area as the fog light harness.
Also check to make sure the fog switch is depressed and clicked on, sounds stupid buy a lot of people forget about that!
