can I hone a b18 block, and still run JDM ITR STD size pistons???
not sure.. thats what i thought i heard before that depends on how bad the cylinder walls are.. just wanted to confirm that.
I am buying a b18a from a guy and right now i can get some cheap JDM ITR STD pistons brand new with pins and rings. just wanted to know before i bought them, or just wait till i find out the condition of the block. which is probably best, but i dont wanna miss out on a good deal.

Might want to confirm how much, if any, damage there is on the cylinder walls before you buy anything. If there's nothing really, then a light hone job will be fine. Anything more and you'll have to hone/bore it to repair it. Obviously then you wouldn't be able to use those pistons.
If there is lots of miles on the block; you most likely almost sure are going to have to step up to the next size up; even if the walls look great the cylinders are going to be egg shaped and your piston to wall clearances are going to be off specs
