Default turbo b20b 85mm yes or NO

can i go 85mm(10 to 1) on stock b20b sleeves w/vtec head?
i will also put in some eagle rods
i knoe this is a dumb as$ question, but im not a turbo guy....
i wanted to knoe if i can still put a turbo kitt on it (like a simple drag kit)
boost like 5-7lbs

the reason why im doing this is because i have all these parts laying around\
(the turbo kit is my nephew's)

thanks for any help

I am going to guess no. Stock b20 sleeves are worthless for boost as is, so boring it to 85mm would be even worse. Sleeve the block or get an LS block.

that is a serious time bomb waiting to explode bro, i mean a B20 is pushing it as it is, and to take it out another milimeter is just nuts

Its all about tunning, Im running 15lbs on my stock block B20 with turboedit daily driven. The sleeves are weaker then other B series to begine with, boring them out to an 85mm isnt going to help the situation. If you dont want to sleeve then just get some 84mm pistons to throw in there and get a good tune. If you can afford it tho, get it sleeved and run +20psi daily....

I think you should leave the way it is and save you $$$. You should be fine with stock sleeve

People are cracking them at 84.5mm on some N/A setups. I wouldn't.

Tuning will help, but b20 sleeves and boost don't mix. Not a good idea...

nahh man, not with a b20 i wouldnt suggest it... if u plan on sticking with the b20 just sleeve it and go turbo... thats the way i would go.. i hear the b20s have thin walls, no experience personally with them tho. if u want to bore it out to a 85... sell the b20 and get a gsr block.. they hold much better!
