Default EGR problem h22 crx!

It seems I do not have the wires right I have played around with them switching etc. Looked in the schematic but that isn't going to help me with what wires connect with the HF harness and the H22 sensor wires. The CEL comes on when I hit a peak of a hill or when I bog bad and of course its code 12 EGR. I have had the EGR off and cleaned it out and seems to be working fine far as the solenoid works etc. So for the moment I am stumped!!!

HF EGR: green/white yellow yellow/white
H22 EGR: white/yellow green/white yellow/white

I have switched them around with female and male endings trying every combination with no luck...

I know I plan to get a p28 chipped ecu and I already had the block off plate on it I just would like to get it running the right way...with this ecu. I am pretty sure for this engine to run properly and up to specs I will need the EGR for this ecu jdm p13 spoon chip. Plus I am tired of the on and off of the CEL. by the way its obd0 to obd1

Are you sure they go to the right pins on the ecu end? Look at the pinouts for the P13 and trace the wires and make sure they are correct. Are you also reseting the ecu everytime you try this? i.e. disconnect the ground on the battery for 10 sec.??

p28 and forget about it. you'll also get rid of the problematic knock sensor too..

there is quite a bit of extra junk attached to the EGR system on a prelude...

its a obd0 to obd1 jumper the base of the wires is the factory EGR hookup. Yes I reset the ecu and do not like to drive long distances because of the CEL I then pull over and re start the car lol so I just need to get it hooked up the right way...

it's probably a vacuum problem.. do you have the vacuum diagram for the H22A?

Well I would still do as I suggested. Just because it is a jumper for OBD1 does not mean that the wires for the EGR are in the correct pin outs for the P13. Most companies will make the jumpers for the most popular swaps (i.e. EG Si, Vx, etc...). The some pin outs will be different depending on the model of OBD1 ecu and requirements it is.
