Default Jedi Training

Jedi Training

The following is a result of my Jedi Training with Jedi Master MAX_CFM.

This is a P72 94-99 GSR head for Tbone's brother.

These were some of the principles applied to the intake port on head that will be used as a daily driver. The goal here is to have maximum flow efficiency. Meaning making the port flow as hi as a percentage of what 2 pefect 33mm venturis would flow.

1) No port entry enlargement.
2) No cutting of guides. Allows better valve control. Valve seats will last longer.
3) Minimal port volume increase.
4) Minimal divider narrowing (goes with item 3).
5) Straighten bowls
6) Straighten short turn
7) Blended transition from short turn into bowl
8) Radius throat valve job
9) Smooth suface for 1.5% CFM gain (more for cosmetic and customer satisfaction). Surface can be left as "carbided" with very little detrimental effect on performance.

If you look closely you will see grinding debris. That will be removed after extensive cleaning. All polished cylinders need to be cleaned very carefully to remove all grinding debris and grit.

Thanks again Brad. You da man.
Thanks Tbone for being way cool.

Thanks Mike. The looking good part is more for pride of workmanship. The shape from the valve seat and back dictate the performance.

As for the Jedi reference, I do feel it is appropriate because the level of integrity that Brad and I live by and our loyalty to one thing, performance regardless of who the end customer. If you pay the same amount as Pro Prostock customer you get the same quality as the Pro Prostock customer. No hook or special referral needed unlike other shops where you have to be Papadakis or someone special.

If you look at how many unscroupulus DUMA's out there we need more Jedi's and Jedi masters in this industry.

1) It looks like 3 angle but it has a radius throat.

2) Sad to say I haven't flowed it yet. I still need to unpack my flow bench. Once I get the bench up and running I am going to have an amateur head porting constest.

3) Tom, I am gonna be picking up the AEBS manifold from Camp1320 tonite or tomorrow.

4) I am not the rocket from the bike forum. I only post in the All Motor forum. Call it loyalty, focus, or just lack of interest in anything else but all motor.

Be careful what references you use. Remember, the Jedi were eventually wiped out

Jedi's were wiped out because they got shot in the back

Yeah, I love the beauty and the beast picture. Can someone dig that up?
