hey i have a ? just wondering what head is better to build a b20 vtec gsr or si

B16(Si) head. It flows way better than the GSR head from the factory

check in the 92-00 civic FAQ's there is no difference

actually, the gsr head has the intake ports sitting higher on the head, allowing the intake charge to create the "flow cone" around the valves a little nicer. that's stuff that may help in the long run

there is a flow chart from alaniz floating around comparing a b16 head to a gsr head...b16 outflowed it at mid lift and was about the same at high lift

GSR head also has quench pads in the combustion chamber for a better burn pattern and slightly higher compression. GSR head is better than all other B-series heads IMO. But in reality....whichever one you find first is the one you should go with. There is not enough of a difference to worry about it.

i own a coulpe b16 heads and gsr head the b16 is better i dont care what the chart say cuz the heads they test it on is usaly ported and **** b16
