I'm going to take off my wheels and tires for the winter, and go back to steelies once again. Here's the shitbox.

The wheels are 16x7" Rota Grids, with 205/45/16 Hankook RS2-Z212 tires, approx. 6,000 miles on the wheels/tires.
I plan on AutoXing in the spring, and I want to make sure that my wheels and particularly tires are stored properly over the winter. I will be putting them in my apartment.
Should I deflate the tires, or just leave them as is?
I've never kept a set of wheels for more than one summer, so this is a first - work with me

Vulcan Tire sells "tire totes" you can store (and carry) them in. They were out of stock a month ago, but I just received mine today. Some people don't need anything fancy, so they just use trash bags. Tire Rack might have some info on their site.

read, enjoy

Tire bags like this are also great for storage or for carrying them around.

a little late to be telling him this.....no? especially seeing as he asked this about 3 months ago.
But you are right, they should be clean, especially your winter rims should have no salt left.
