Hey any of you guys have this problem,...?
while turning the steering wheel at low speed the steering sqeaks?
whay cause this problem and can I fix it?

 

need more info!! are u sure its the steering? does it squeek when driving low speeds and turning? have u checked ur p/s fluid? ect ect

 

mine did that and it was the ball joints

how did you fix that?? new bushing??

PS fluid is full
It only sqeak when...say making turns in the parkinglot

 

definitly check front steering and suspention components. rack boots, tie rod ends, and all those bushings. lets us know what u find out!

 

check if lower ball joing boots are torn, if they are try to replace the boot and repack with grease, or u can just replace the whole ball join

 

I was hoping someone would know so I dont have to tear it apart

I'll check on that tomorrow,
but I thought last last time I swap the tranny out ithe balljoint was still good though.

no one will be able to properly diagnose your car with out seeing it

I thought there might be someone here who have the same or samilar problem.

 

My 92 LS does that sometimes. Does it sound like the noise is coming from inside the car around the steering column? I think there was a service bulletin that addressed it, but i dont remember what the fix was.
