does anyone know how many were produced in what year?

 

What about in japan? And if so what color is it? White like the 97-98's or yellow and so on like the 2000-2001's ?

 

They brought Type Rs to Canada in 1999. I know because I have 1999 Type R.

 

Japan had ITRs ever since the 95 MY. They came in all colours black, white, silver, red, yellow and just recently blue with the new DC5.

Now I can't say how many where made but heck alot more then all the ITRs sold here.

 

the 96 and 98 spec R's only came in CW..i think..

and the 2000 spec came in any color you want.

dont know about the number of R's produced though..but i thought it was 600 for 97, 1200 for 98, 1600 for both 2000 and 2001

 

i heard 750 a year... and yeah the US has been deprived of the R for more than a few years.

 

I dont think they had Type R's here in 96. 1997 was the first year that the R was released in North America, and there were not alot of them released. Is it 600 or less?

 

JDM 96spec/98spec: White,Silver,Black,Red

00spec: All of above plus Yellow

 

I used to own one '99 CW ITR... About 160 of them made it to Canada that year!
