offset question

Default offset question

Mach III sent me some rotas slipstreams I ordred, but there are 40mm offset 16x7. My concern is that in the search 40mm is not mentioned. I quess I have a problem?? Any comments.

Stay as close to stock +50mm as possible. 40mm might be the limit for good handling....

I just checked MachIII's website. They list both a 40 and 45 mm offset, for both 4x100 and 5x114. If you wanted the 45, I would give them a call and explain. Maybe they will lwt you exchange if you have not mounted tires yet. 45mm is closer to ideal for the ITR than 40mm.

Frank,
I think the 40mm would work fine, but I'd rather get the 45mm. My volks are 42mm and I have no problem with them, so an extra 2mm would likely not make much of a difference.
