Ok so when i bought my Teg (1990 Integra LS hatch), I noticed the exhaust was a little loud from the beginning, but i figured that the previous owner had just taken off the cat or the resonator. Well i got down to check the other day and i noticed that where the mid-pipe connects to the down pipe the flange has a half-inch opening where it isn't connected right. about like this >. One side is bolted completely down but the other is not. I think i might be missing something but im not sure. I also noticed that there is no resonator on the mid pipe and the muffler only has one tip rather than two. I think they might have put a civic exhaust on thinking it would work. If yall (yes im from Texas) can tell me what pieces should be there from headers to the tip i would much appreciate it. Pics would be well appreciated as well. I can post pics tomorrow if needed.
Thanks.
Thanks.
You're probably missing a spring bolt on one side. I'd go to advance auto, and get a spring bolt set, to patch it up for now, then I'd work on getting a good namebrand cat-back exhaust, and maybe a header and street-legal hi-flow cat.
EDIT; just make sure there is a donut gasket where the flange is loose, or else it'll still be loud and leak.
