Default is my B18C gunna blow up?!!?

ok heres the deal i need professional comments from actual mechanics\techies that really know wtf they are talking about. Heres what i got, jdmB18c civic coupe-using american obd2 gs-r pcm. Everything is fine w\no check engine lights. I HAVE NOT changed the clutch and it definatelly feels weaker alot than when i first got it. Heres the problem at 7500 rpm in 3 and 4th gear the car just stops acclerating and feels like the power is stopping completely im mean it just feels powerful than DEAD and its a quick instant feeling, power band is fine then around 7500 it just stops and the tach holds. Im almost positive this is the clutch> has anyone seen this before, when shifting quickly in powerband there is an obvious lag in the clutch and it just dosent feel as explosive as it used to, I expierenced this problem acclerating on a str8 away, its just feels like slipping but ive never worn a clutch out enough to expierence this. so yea just think vtec,4500 then 5900 butterflies, then just a berrrrrr sound as it abruptly stops acclerating around 7500, if this is the clutch for sure where can i get a cheap act or exeddy, or cm. who will professionally and reliabally install clutches for a good deal in San Diego county?

Does it act like your hitting a rev limiter. I've heard GSR ecus will put in a rev limit if they get low on oil. I don't know enough of what it feels like to give you a straight-forward answer, but it sounds like either a rev limiter, or your timing is off.
I'm pretty sure it's not your clutch. Clutches just don't start slipping and you stop accelerating, or it would do it through-out the powerband. Probably when you hit VTEC and it starts pulling hard, it would stop accelerating, and the rpms, would jump to 8200. So I am pretty sure it's not your clutch. Is your car throwing a check engine light at all?

You shouldnt be going that fast any way. 7500 rpm in fourth gear...shakes head

AND dont tell me you were at the strip cus our gsrs dont get up to that speed in the 1/4 mile.

Does it act up in other gears? like first or second, cause if its only doing it in fourth, I bet you're hitting the speed-limiter. How fast is 7500 in 4th gear?

one more question, my fuel line from the fuel filter to fuel rail is in two pieces and has been spliced together via plastic tube thingy. I need to use a complete fuel hose (for registration and peace of mind) with no cuts and i was wondering if anyone knows what parts or how i can do this without spending more than 50 bucks

Did you check yet, or are you assuming? Cause I only heard of that happening, never experienced it personally

I don't know for under 50 bucks, but for 75, you can get a Full-Race stainless -6an line kit

go to http://www.full-race.com and look under plumbing/lines
