final drive question
If it's a manual transmission, the *easiest* thing is just to throw an Si transmission into the car. The DX and Si share the exact same 1-5 gear ratios, but the Si has a shorter final drive (4.25 vs the DX's 3.88), which allows it to accelerate quicker.
There are also some aftermarket companies offering things like 4.7 and 4.9 final drives, I believe, but they can be pricey.

E-mail that company and tell them what you want and they will get it all setup for you. Some hydro and cable parts can be swapped and some can't.
