Default B-series transmission question

Replacing the bearings in my B16A/S4C transmission and the OEM replacement countershaft bearing on the transmission case is missing an oil hole. This is the needle-type bearing.

The original bearing has an oil hole and the factory manual says to install the bearing with the oil hole facing up. This is the correct bearing since it fits into the housing and onto the countershaft, but it's just missing the oil hole. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If it doesn't have the hole it is not the correct bearing. I can fit in an oven, does that mean that I am the thanksgiving turkey?

Still not sure....Took the bearing to the dealer to check it with their database and the part numbers are correct.

ps. I ordered the bearings by part number, not by diagram, so I just had to double check it.

mmmm.....turkey

Well if the dealer says it is the correct part number then my advice would be to ask their heavy tech if it looks correct to him, if he says yes then use it.

For what it's worth, when I was swapping GSR internals into my YS1, I decided to get the GSR countershaft bearing as it had a different PN than the YS1 bearing did. The only difference I noticed was the absence of the oil hole - maybe it's a new design? Anyway, a few thousand miles later and no problems. I imagine you'll be fine if you use it.
