3rd Gear Pops Out
I know about the 2nd and 3rd gear "grind" shiizzz and i dont think this is it. When driving, normally.. or spirited, 3rd gear will go in, and then pop back down towards neutral causing me to just rev. This proabably happens about twice a day, driving for about 30-40 mins a day.
This guy from clubrsx.com says that if you have CAI it could be hitting the CAI, thus causing it to pop out. Now I do have a CAI and I was wondering if this is true and what i can do to fix it. How can you check if it is indeed close to the CAI tubing, pop your hood and have someone shift into third? Now if fixing it is taking out my CAI and getting another intake, then so be it.
Its a DC Sports CAI.
Thanks for input.

Yes, pop your hood and have someone shift through the gears. Check the shift linkage and make sure that it is not hitting your CAI. If it is leave it in third gear and loosen your intake by the throttle body. Rotate it a little bit so it clears the linkage.
If not, throw the stock intake on and take it to the dealer. Probably a linkage problem though.
