Need help..low DYNO numbers
Hey guys...
A friend of mine has a civic 00 B16a2 and went recently to SCI motorsports to tune his car and got 170whp,116Tq but i think he could do more.

The setup is :
B16a2
Ported head, Multiangle valve job
Skunk 2 cams
INTAKE: DURATION @ 1mm 252º LIFT: 0.456"(11.5mm)
EXHAUST: DURATION @ 1mm 249º LIFT: 0.426"(10.8mm)
Arias Pistons
bore 3.209" compresion ratio 11.3, 283 gram piston weight
Eagle rods
cometic headgasket
AEM V2 CAI
DC headers
Hondata S200
2.5" catback
any recomendations about the setup or something helpful

Every dyno reads different.
168whp on that dyno may mean 175whp elsewhere.
...But besides that, the numbers look a little weak.
Do a compression and leakdown test...

WTF is that lean spot on the first run!
The compression isn't that high, and the cams aren't that aggressive. He is sitting at a fairly conservative power output for that setup. I wouldn't think there is something wrong.

i have a very similar build:
00 B16 block stock .50mm overbore
M22X camshafts
AEBS intake manifold
AEM intake
Omnipower valves
milled head
Rocket valvetrain
Skunk2 camgears
JDM DC 4-1
11:1 compression
we got 173whp out of it 116TQ.
it made power to 8800rpms. We are working on getting a better header for it now.
funny thing is, we had a guy come through here with a JDM b16. he had CTR cams and a skunk2 manifold, and a sparks header and made 175whp. that kinda pissed me off, but that happens
