Extrude Honing IM...
Alright befor any of you guys say it's not worth it just get it ported or buy a new IM, let me tell you this is not for a B series manifold.
I want to get my OEM K24a2 (tsx) mani extrude honed. No one really makes aftermarket intake manifolds for the K series yet...
The manifold is a big long runner design that actuall may not even be able to be cut open and ported. this mani should be good for some mid range torque over one of the K20 manifolds, but I want it to flow as good as possible.
So who do you guys know that does it and what kind of gains have been seen?
Alsdo some one said something about it not being good for velocity (that doesn't make much sense to me? ), and that it hurt atomization (I can kind believe that since everything would be smoother and less turbulant the fuel would not mix as well)...
what do you guys think? I would appreciate some experience over opinions...
