like it says, My 90 integra LS auto transmission is toast. I have access to an auto B16 tranny for cheap. I have been told that a B16 tranny will bolt up to any B-series block. But i need to know if this is totally accurate. If so, what all needs to be done? Will it bolt up and plug right in or what? I've been thinking about the electrical point of it. I know that the B16 has different shift points and different gear ratios, but do i need a B16 auto ECU or TCU??? PLEASE HELP ME OUT ASAP!!!

 

Make sure it's a first gen tranny, if so then it will go in with no issues/modifications at all.

 

How do i tell if it is a first gen tranny?

 

As long as the transmissions are both cable, or both hydraulic it will work fine.

What is a TCU?

 

Ok guys need as many thoughts as possible. I need to pick this thing up ASAP but first i need to know what all i need. So what about the electronic side of this?? Will i need anything else from the B16???
