Im getting a b16 2nd gen for my 95 civic
and yes its auto (save the comments) what auto tranny do i need
or will there be any problems getting an auto trans for the B16
Does Usdm or Jdm matter?

obviously, depending on what year engine you get

 

you would think an automatic b16 would bolt up to an automatic Eg style civic but it doesnt. there is some cutting and welding involved...

 

i have a JDM automatic b16 tranny let me know if u need it i am in so cal

Never heard that before. Talked to one guy that did it, said it dropped right in.

 

as long as it is a B series auto....it should work.

 

it doesnt. me and my buddy tried it. it didnt line up right, so we took it to inline four, and they tried it and said there was to be some welding involved. They did some research and made a few calls and only one shop in the u.s. had done it so far.
