Anyone know of any front plate holders similar to Ricks, but um.......... cheaper?

I dont know about you guys, but $32 + shipping for a license plate holder is a bit pricey. Is there a cheaper alternative? Or do you know if Ricks does a groupbuy on it ever?

I haven't seen any other besides the Rick's and Garage Defend so like Oz said, your cheapest is Rick's.

I have not seen them do a group buy in a long time. I don't expect them to have any either. Look for some used ones on s2ki, prob your only option for cheaper

 

Ive been searching for a while. Seriously though, am I the only one who thinks 32 + shipping is too expensive for a little piece of metal!?

It is expensive. I'm sure if I had a sample, i could fab one up with aluminum. Its good having access to the engineering labs at school

Its because I have a friend coming down New Years and Im going to have to drive to and from LAX. I heard youll def get pulled over if you dont have a front plate over there.

I have my stock one........ Its just that I go to LAX ALOT, so I wanted one that kinda looked good....... Plus angles so its harder for ppl to see the plate....

But Im not having much luck finding a used one, I think I have no choice but OEM for now... lol

 

an itr owner i know carries his front plate around with double sided tape. he just slaps it on when needed

 

Just scrape your plate on the road a few times, keep it on the passenger floor and tell the officer it fell off.
