Default K24a Fully built Dyno - k20a.org Spec

This is the motor I posted about several months ago.. I was able to get the original dyno sheet from singapore.

The car has dynoed 292hp @ the wheels on a Dynapack Dyno with a Torque Correction Factor of 1. A higher TCF value would have yielded more power.

As a reference a totally standard JDM DC5 K20A type r produces 182 @ the wheels (With TCF 1).

to all of you guys in the all motor forum, representing the honda scene all over the world

This particular car, unfortunatelly was used for illegal street racing and nothing else. It killed most cars on the roll, most turbo cars with 500whp... liek 2.2L EVOs etc... The only car that won by 5 cars was a 800whp WRX. Traction is a big issue for this DC5 that is running 22 inch hoosiers... 1st and 2nd gear are useless. Stock clucth died in 2 minutes... RSX axles are holding up. This is on 98 RON octane that is close to our USA 93 octane gas.
The ambient temperature & humidity is extremely high, (almost 100%) so
there is less oxygen available in air for combustion.

The torque was converted from Newton and meters to lbs and ft... Basically, 1 N=0.22 lb-ft and 1m=3.26 ft etc...

Danny from sixsigmaracing.com (dtr fab) is making a new header for the car to replace the cheap header that the 292 was attained with.

Thanks to Sean and the guys from ERL, R&D Dyno for the head and Joel for putting the motor together in Singapore. Motor made it there in 4 days with DHL, and was ready to race in about 7 days after that.

Is the Joel u talking abt from Driven Singapore? If so, this fella is realli knowledgable abt the K series engine. I've gotten most of my aftermarket US parts from him, so far he has yet to disappoint me. Hondata, K24 engine, etc.
Although I havent achieved the above mentioned standards yet, slowly bt surely, I'll be reaching my goal to make my DC5 a monster like his.

dayum so what does this say about about going with the k20a/2 head? is there a need seeing that this k24 made 292 to the wheels?

im actually trying to pick up a k24 within the next 2 weeks or so. this looks promising, not sure if i can produce those same types of numbers.

from what i have learnd the head flows the same, there are people in the US makeing around 270-280whp and i think 180 or so Tq. THey don't talk about it much. The motor's only last 40 hours of abuse, most of the time they are pulled befor that.

I am sorry about this but you misunderstood.. my fault.. bad title... I just refer to them as K24a... but they are k24a/k20a2

That is a k20a2 type s head with CRV block.

89 mm sleeves, wiseco pistons, oil jets, crower rods, stock crank, ACL bearings, type s oil pump etc..

the compression is 13:7:1 on the pistons but with the 1mm cometic gasket, we estimate it around 13-1
