Default Suggestions on my messed up crank

Pull it or anything else I can do?

Backstory: Car is new (to me) for about month and a half or so. Engine is a b18c1...My guess is two or more flywheel bolts spun loose and jacked up the back of the flywheel which then melted to the crank from what it looks...

and the back of my flywheel

you could pull it and take it to a machine shop so they can mill the imperfections flat.

This is one of the things you could do, or you could replace it.

WTF...this is the first time i've seen something like this. I would say, pull it and take it to a machine to see if that can shave it off and balance it. I would personally replace it. Diffinately replace the flywheel b/c it is relatively cheap.

If you properly torque the bolts there is no need for Loctite. If you torque them correctly and they still back out there may be a bigger issue to look at. If you really want to use loctite then I would suggest using the weakest one possible since the torque spec on those bolts is pretty low.

I had a flywheel bolt back out on me too once, an I did tourqe them down properly with a calibrated TQ wrench.

I ended up using loctite (red high heat) and also lockwashwers just in case. It took me soo long to figure out what it was, I definitely didn't want it happening again. I pulled my tranny off like 5 times.

Also....shameless plug.....

I have a GSR crank. Nothing wrong with it, I took it out and put an LS crank in when I built my motor up. Will let it go cheap.
