Default vaccum leak?

ok. this has been bothering me for a while and i cant really decide what to do. When ever i turn off my car the sound of air pressure leaking sounds like its coming from underneath the brake master cylinder resovoir, but my brakes work just fine and im not leakin fluid or anything like that. Also, my vaccum gauge does not go all the way back to zero, it stops at like 8 or so. Has anyone ever experienced this? and is the problem in fact coming from the brake master cylinder and should it be replaced? any help would be appreciated

Sorry for an old bump but i'm having some what of the same problem.

But i think its coming from the IACV and not your brake master cylinder.

I have a idle problem not too bad but it jumps every once in awhile when its warm. I cleaned the IACV screen, it was dirty and the FITV is working fine. when i was going to adjust it with the idle screw I unhooked the IACV plug and my motor died and the IACV made a pressure release sound.

Has anyone else had this problem?

btw its a B16A OBD0

HEY,, so i have a vaccum leak too now and i was wondering if anyone could help. the best way would be to pm me. anyways heres my problem

I just swapped my throttle body to a Blox 68mm but when I give it gas or even while idle... my car sputters. it sounds like im losing spark or i just put a nasty cam in my car..

BUT i put my OEM Type R throttle body back on, and now my car is idling very high when im driving IN GEAR. In pretty sure its not the TPS OR MAP sensor... so i let it sit an run, when i disconnect a vaccum line my idle sounds the same and nothing changes. and i CANNOT find this leak.. someone help
