i have a 97 gsr... n the shocks in the rear r goin.... soo now i have the opportunity to change the shocks... but i figured id go along wit the springs too... but i want coilover... i was thinkin koni adjustables.. but im not sure wats a good combination with those... if i get the set its about a G... but for the shocks alone its 120 n change... idk please if u guys have any better idea... please let me kno
What are you using your car for? Are you going to go autocrossing or circuit racing with it? Are you going to use it as a daily driver? Do you care about ride quality? And the most important, what kind of budget are you on?
Without knowing any of that I would suggest getting some Moton 3-way adjustibles and some Eibach custom springs.

well im using it everyday... but i the ride quality isnt too important... the adjustables i can always get... but i want good stiff ride with handling... but i wanna be able to lift it during the winter... summer is when ill drop it... the budget... i would like to be reasonable, i dont wanna go over bored....
as a daily driver i think i have the best set up... kyb shocks front and rear, eibach pro kit, thats a 1.3 inch drop so its nice an clean.. if you care about performance i say get an upgraded sway bar such as an itr sway bar ect... hope i helped
thanx thats an idea... but my dad is a pain in the ***... soo i have to go wit coilovers, so i can raise the height when i need to... i was actuallly lookin into kyb cuz its like all over the place, but idk... thats y im havin difficulty cuz of the coilover idea. idk were to shop either i looked on summitracing, but they seem to have on the rears for the konis i was lookin into... then the coilover kit was 994 n thats witout shipping... i need the shocks soon, but i figured get the springs too being that i am gonna change them eventually... idk lol im lost
Well, I personally have some Koni yellows on adjustable coils right now. And I do every other couple of days driving(not necessarily daily) and the ride quality is awesome. Although I will eventually upgrade to Ground Controls for better spring rates and getting adjustable top hats, I will still recommend Konis to start off with if anything. Be prepared that they are not cheap though, but you never want to cheap out when it comes to stuff like this dude
