some kind of sealant laid down on the track made it a slick-track.
EVO owner hosted a vid, many cars snap-over. many offs.
Lotus Elise caught fire, burned to the ground.
not sure what fast times of the day were.

Rules:
no pushrods, huh?
I know they're catering to a specific market. Gotta kick out that Z06, cause they know it'll toast the rest.
I was curious, so I looked up some results. I found a T1 Z06 that ran a 2:02.
no flat sixes either = no porches.
I guess they know whats fast.
See pics and results in link under picture.

Edo,
so, who won? Looks like Stasis brought their fresh of the winning circle Audi. Do they run Toyo or some slicks?
Nice to see Heinrocket in a FWD. Did he do well? Considering the resource he has, he should have won at least FWD class.

Your talking about the Redline Time attack at Spring mountain. Not the SS time attack at Buttonwillow.
Sat was like what you are describing, but the actual time attack on sun went smooth. The surface was much improved for sunday!
As far as the time attack at button willow, the Bernardo did really well all day. It was hard to compete with the money GM had spent on the Cobalt that kicked all ***. Consistent 1:51's all day.

Won overall.
The car was VERY fast with a great driver, and lots of testing that had obviously paid off.

Nice. Heirocket is a really good driver. Obviously his resource is unmatchable by anyone there. But it should not overshadow his real talent behind the wheel.

I agree. It takes a great driver to run consistent 1:51's there in a car that was probably a handful to drive. Great drive by him for the testing and the sessions.

Good job Edik, glad to see you driving up there. What ended up being your best time in the EG? Definitely not enough FF NA cars this year, but I realize its getting harder for the small budget teams to compete…. especially against that Cobalt GM works car.
Still, glad you got the car fixed up after that oil catch problem.

Bernardo Martinez got the Hasport supercharged DC up in the 1.56's, he was flying but Im not sure of the final results.

Bernardo was flying and in each subsequent session, he reduced his best lap time by at least a second and sometimes two. The number 2.4 Hasport-sponsored four-door Integra with a Jackson racing supercharger feeding a stock 2.4 liter (hence the car's number) TSX motor was potent on the straights and the suspension setup with the TEIN N1's was superb in the corners. The short stroke dampers were preloaded to maximize shaft travel and eliminate bottoming. All in all, the car was great and Bernardo was improving each session. Unfortunately, he ran out of sessions. With a bigger tire, some enhanced aero, a bit of Nitrous, and more track time with this car, Bernardo should be in the hunt for the overall.

Yep, GM rented the whole track the day before. I also noticed in the GM pits the tire guy continuously mounting/dismounting fresh Hoosier's next to the huge transporter. Compete with GM's money and be the David that beat Goliath against all odds has some competitors salivating for the next installment of the Super Street/Eurotuner Time Attack. I know Keith and Brian Gillespie from Hasport can't wait until next time and neither can I.
