Default d16A6 SI motor..... question

when my car warms to normal temps. It shut downs on me and is hard too start again. Why? Do you think its electrical? I just had the head in the shop recently.

Valves adjusted correctly? Maybe they're too tight, and when it warms up and expands the metal it's not closing the valves completely.
