Default Time To Get Your ARRC On

There are already over 300 cars pre-entered, and pretty much every class looks like a throw down.

My three wishes for the weekend (in order)...
1. Win the ITC Sprint.
2. Get out of impound in time to watch the ITA race.
3. Win the Enduro.

What the hell. If you're gonna wish, wish big baby!

To everyone driving long distances... Drive carefully.

Scott, who can already taste the *real* Jambalaya and primo beer.

I am a little nervous to say the least .... ... but am very much looking forward to running my first ARRC.

3 wishes (A bit more modest then Scott's):
1. Don't wreck
2. Don't get dirty/work on the car much
3. Finish top 10.

Good luck at the ARRC. Competition is always very strong and the tech shed tends to stay busy. I have not worked the ARRC in two years and wished I could this weekend but can't.

I am sure we can expect post race reports. How about video?

You got that right! I love coming into a weekend like this with no pressure or expectations.

Well, that's not true. I have one expectation: to party a lot and drink A LOT of beer. A whole lot.

I'm packing my minimal gear, and substantial beer, currently. I'm finally actually looking forward to this. See you all down there.

My three wishes:
- Run laps as fast as I did there in February
- Have fun (that's a given)
- Drink considerable beer (also a given)

Scott, if you're interested I have a small camera with remote video feed that would probably work... I've been meaning to test it out at some point.

If the car stays in one piece for all 3 races, I'll have lots of that.

Been waiting for this weekend for exactly 1 year. It's finally here. My 3 wishes:
1. Kick this weekend's ***.
2. Really kick this weekend's ***.
3. Go home with the car in one piece.

It's pure euphoria when your sole objective in a race weekend is to take a car that is in its best form and leave nothing on the table driving it as fast as possible. This is what makes this weekend once a year so much more expensive and so much more fun than any other, and I am soooo going to enjoy it.

And while your approach sounds like fun, it is a whole different kind of fun than what I am aiming for this weekend. Don't get me wrong, we are going to try to kick your *** in the enduro, but my first goal is still sheer entertainment. If the car sucks this weekend, or I am rusty and suck this weekend, it really doesn't matter all that much.

Maybe next year, if funding permits, I will come into it with your approach and try to win the whole damn thing. I kind of doubt it... I am a much happier person racing the way I do nowadays.

All that said, you had BETTER kick some NE *** this weekend Punky!

SM ALWAYS has a big shuffle coming into turn 1... Videos are thousands of pictures, which are millions of words

The most we can do is maximize both the car and the driver's performance. The biggest disappointment will be if we and I can't do that for whatever the reason. What will make it most enjoyable will be if we are able to give it an honest 100% shot. There's nothing more that can be done. Where the results may fall, that's going to be icing on the cake. Ok fine, very SWEET icing nevertheless.

But I know what you mean. Now if only we’d win the lottery and be able to approach every race weekend this way.

No way in hell. DFL is looking like an option.

So far about the most frustrating race weekend to date for me. Let's see if we can turn it around tomorrow. I have some crazy vid from the Pro-IT start today if some1 can host. IM plez.
