After getting a 5 speed miata as a daily driver, I finally was able to feel the difference in control compared to my auto-track car. Over the past years I've come to figure out alot of people go with b16 and gsr trans swaps for the shorter gearing. As of right now, I'm having trouble finding a gsr/si trans locally, but I have come across an LS trans for 400 bucks.

I need your guys' opinions on whether or not an LS trans gearing is too long for autocross' quick transitions. Or should I just wait for a gsr/b16 trans to be available later on. Thanks for your feedback. Peace
