Default lca bolt spec?

Can anyone tell me the specs of the lca bolt that connects to the strut? Like length and width of it. Also can I just use any high grade bolt from a hardware store nstead of buying it from the dealership? Is so what grade should I be looking for?

I know you want to get at least a grade 8.8 strength bolt. Home Depot doesnt have it. Your best bet would be to pull off your LCA bolt, borrow someone's car, and take it to a shop.

dont trust you suspension to shitty hardware store bolts...

go to the dealership and get the oem bolt..in an emergency you can get away w/ hardware store stuff...i did for awhile, but eventually got the oem bolts from the dealership...

or get some from a junkyard

lol your going to get a bolt from the hardware store??? You know why the honda bolts are expensive?
1. honda sells them
2. they are heat treated and probaly hardened.

They are made to take a beating.

call the dealership and ask or find an online parts catalogue...
