phantom grip rocker arms, chewed up exhaust cam....HELP!
i got a set of phantom grip rocker arms that came with a head i bought from a friend, that also had a set of jun III cams.well to make a long story short i was looking at the head and rocker arms and the exhaust side cam was ground out, destroyed.also so the rocker arm pad is kind of chewed up.the intake side is perfect nothing wrong at all.my question is what would cause this?i put back in stock rocker arms but i might want to reuse the phantom grips but i am really scared of chewing up new cams.what i am thinking is that the exhaust side valves were not correctly adjusted therefore chewing up the exhaust cam,but thats just what i think....my other question is how do i go about adjusting the valves because now the phantomgrip rocker arms are always on the vtec lobe instead of the primarys.... phantom grip website has no detail on how to install etc. so just wondering if someone can help me out!thanks ahead....
I am very interested to find out the cause of your problem, too. I am looking hard at those rockers for the race car.

well they are lighter than stock rocker arms......i rather not use them but they are there already and i want to fix this problem...
also when my friend had this head on his b20 it ran really well even with the ground up cam,it made 228hp on a b20 mase tuned...i am sure it would have made alot more if the cam was good

I have heard of them comming in contact with certain retainers actually. You need to check the clearances at full lif to make sure they dont hit anything.. Check to make sure your not at coil bind on thye springs.. It sounds that way from the description...
