1986 Civic Si Idle Problem :(
I have a bit of a problem that maybe someone knows how to fix. The car is an 86 or 87 civic Si running the 12 valve fuel injected motor. I've set the the vacuum lines as stated in the service manual. I have removed and plugged the dashpot and air conditioner thing. Like so:

The car starts up, idles around 1700 and moves down as it warms up until it bottoms out at a quiet 500-750. All is well (i thought). After driving it for about 30 minutes both on highway and street to street it started to idle at 1500 and not go back down.
What's the deal??

it may be something with your idle air control valve being out of adjustment..
