Anyone know if Sparco makes sliders for 88-89 civic hatches or anyone know how to make sliders?
I'm planning to get a set of Sparco Torino seats for my 89 civic DX and i've heard sparco don't make rails for EF's if they don't what have people done to put them in the EF hatches.??????

From doing a SRD in my car this weekend, i can tell you how it works. Recaro supplies you with a bracket that mounts to the new Recaro seat. It has 6 screws that ot bolts to the seat with. To slide the seat back and forth in the car, you have to use the stock sliders off your current honda seat. You remove them both from the car, and on the rail that bolts to the side of the stock seat (vs. the other one, which bolts to the bottom of the stock seat and requires no modification) you have to grind off the 45 deg bracket that allows the slider to bolt to the side of the seat, so essentially you have to make both sliders look the same, totally flat on top. Then you must drill corresponding holes in the one you just grinded so it will bolt to the recaro bracket. Get everything together, without tightening the bolts from the honda sliders to the recaro brackets, put it in the car and bolt the honda sliders to the mounting points of your car. From there, tighten the bolts from the sliders to the recaro bracket, and enjoy

Yeah i dont like em
Edit- Actually ill take that back, do like the corsa evo, but im not about to spend 800+ on one, just to have the same comfort and support that i can get from a $450 recaro. Im on my 2nd SRD (one in my EM one in my ED) and for the price point of a recaro vs a sparco the recaro wins out in build quality and comfort, IMO of course.
