Recaro SRD brackets/sliders/mounting confusion!
I've decided to get a Recaro SRD soon, but I'm really confused with sliders/brackets, etc.
Are sliders and brackets two separate things? Or are they two terms that are used interchangably to mean one object?
If I get the Recaro bracket (and/or slider?), does that bolt DIRECTLY into my EJ8 Civic?
I've also heard that other companies make brackets (sliders) to adapt the SRD into Civics. Which is a better fit?
I've heard that Recaro's bracket/slider makes the driver sit artifically high. Will other companies' brackets/sliders be a better option?
Lastly, will the grey seat be more low-profile than the black seat in the dark grey interior (Honda calls it charcoal) of the EJ8 Civic?
Lumbar option--is it worth it?
Sorry for all the questions... I just want to make sure I'm doing it right!

dont know all your questions but ill help you clear a little up..
brackets bolt the seat to the car
sliders allow the seat to be moved forward and backward..
you technically need both of them or your seat will only sit in one place
i would get the recaro brackets cause they are meant for the seats and are oem compared to others that may not work as well.. good luck, hope i cleared a little up
