Default cv boot inner/outer??

Car: Civic ex 92-95 coupe 1.6l

I was told when i was getting my rims put on that my cv on my right front axle is gone or broke idk. I've been driving it but they said pretty soon down the line something bad is gonna happen. So i found some one this site http://www.drivewire.com/honda...html# but they have two different for inner and outer, how do i know which one to order??Thanx Ps. how much does the cv boots cost so go spending money on this site??

i had to replace both my boots to change my outer ones, had to cut off the inner one to get the outer off. The boots dont seal as good on the ends as they used to...

Its a pain in the ***, I would just buy a new driveshaft. But if you really want to, get the boots and have fun with the grease going everywhere

Your local parts store should sell a full kit for inner and outer.. 50 bucks or so I think

Are you asking what is the outter boot and what is the inner boot? The outer boot is the one by your tire/brake hub, and the inner is the other one. Chances are if you haven't looked at it yet it's the outter one that is going. It's the one that bends a lot more in turns. But like someone else said it might be easier and simpler just to get a remanufactured axle.

its much easier to replace the whole axle on both sides when you decide to just replace the cv joint.
