I need a good body shop who will modify and install horribly fitting body kits. And if the price is right, a good paint job too. Can anyone help me out? I'd prefer it being in the Westminster area or Huntington Beach area... just somewhere nearby.

And yeah, my crappy wanna-be C-West style USDM kit is whats giving me trouble. Next kit I buy I'm spending a whole lotta cash!

well i can tell you where NOT to go...

Body Palace in HB, CA... crappy paint job, crappy service, extremely expensive price. I figured more money is better, I was WRONG! I woulda been better off going to MAACO for a $200 paint job.

If anyone can tell me a good place to go to then I can pass that info along to you. Wasn't there some shop in Orange or something???

 

check MOB works in Anaheim, try doing a search and you'll find a lot of good comments about the place.

yeah i called them today and they said they dont do it anymore cuz customers are never happy with the kits they modify and install cuz it doesnt look right. so they will only install kits that any idiot can do and paint. he said i could install the kit myself and they'll paint, but they wont do it.

i believe it's in cypress, called AEROTECH, near Island Motorsports. They can do body work and paint there, prices are pretty good. I'm not sure if they're still up tho...

 

Do not go to BODY PRO"S!!! They take forever and my car came back with more damage than I droped it off with.

 

been there done that. waited four months for my car, and wasn't satisfied with their work.

all i can suggest is driving a few more miles and talking to miguel at MOB works.

 

MAKS AUTOBODY in Monterey Park......excellent quality + prices.

 

MOB works does quality work...
like miguel said...they wont do some POS body kit cause it wont fit and ppl are gonna complain...
just go JDM and take it there...
itll come out looking nice...
