does anyone know what kind of performance tires are avalible for 13's i have vx wheels

 

What car will this be for? What is the tire size that you want?

 

I have sumitomos, they are dirt cheap and on tire rack. they co as big/wide as 215/50s I think.

Except that it's quite an exaggeration to call those tires "performance tires". They're not very good. But they're probably the best street tire you're going to find in 13" (unfortunately, for those who are limited to that wheel size).

True, but they are listed as a "performance tire", I myself would tend more to call them a "bang for your buck tire". And like you said you are not going to find much more in 13" range.

sorry i havnt responded sooner. its for vx wheels on a 90 hatch with a sohc vtec. thanks again for your help

 

is there a difference in hx or vx wheels?

 

VX are 13x5 and HX are 14x5.5.
