arg i posted this in suspension forum forgetting about the roadracing/autocross forum. I know this sticker stands for something along the lines of ameteur(sp?) road racing etc. Is there a name for it or where would i get one? thanks.

this is a japan sticker that means new driver

it has nothing to do with actual racing.

 

so your telling me to type in newbie driver in google and it will come up? ... Also how does newbie/advanced driver have nothing to do with this forum!? this forum is all about learning how to drive better, events etc etc.

 

Since when does a car show have to do with driving better? That's all you ever see those stickers on......mad jdm show cars.

 

What are you guys talking about? That's not the sticker for newbie drivers. It's a sticker that allows you to drift in public roads. Just show the police officer that sticker and he or she will let you go.

haha i remember one time this dude was showing off with his car and had one of those in his back window and i was like you touge? and he looked at me with a confused face and i pointed at his window and he was like "thats for g's" and i just laughed and walked away.... it was comedy... this is what the guy was thinking "im so jdm i dont know what im putting on my car its just cause im a real g"

In Singapore you would have to have a bright red triangle on the back of your car for the first year of having your driving lic.

I am still not sure why you would want to sport a sticker on your car indicating your new to driving and that every one should avoid you.

JDM New Driver...translated in English roughly means "Stay Back 100 feet! New Driver"

 

It's mandatory in Japan for all driver's who have had their license for less than one year to display the green/yellow symbol on the front and rear of the vehicle.

Older people display an orange/yellow symbol on the front and rear of the vehicle, though this is not mandatory.

If you see either of these stickers on cars in America, it means "Caution: Driver is a moron".

We have the same thing in British Columbia....where you have to display a green N(ooB)....or a Red L(earner)...

I think it's a great idea....it gives you a sporting chance to avoid them before they drive you off the road...

Try wacaba, for new driver or ochiba for old driver. It's amazing how many kids put these on their car without knowing what it really means.

I think it's perfect that the JDM ricers willingly display stickers warning others of their lack of driving experience.

In whose screwed up mind is this cool? Seems equivelent to ugly people starting a paper bag trend, or fat people using reverse beepers.

well when people will pay for power folding side mirrors and a 'parking pole'.....

 

It's an easy item to pick up in Katamari Damacy that's good for levelling out your star. duh.

Don't know what a parking pole is, but I will admit to having owned a car with power folding mirrors. bought it that way though. And yes... it was JDM ricer too...

We put manufacturer stickers on the sides of our cars because some of us have sponsors. And some people here do have type R motors in their civics, tho I doubt they have their stickers on. So please, put your JDM Noob sticker on so that we can all know who to keep our distance from. It's sad that San Diego has gained yet annother rice boy.
