OK this part is broken off on my d16y8 block and i was wondeirn what can i do about is . and what is it.. what all motor can i get the part off of...?? thanks

looks like a nipple. weld it back on if there is some still left in the block..

looks like a water temp sensor to me as well, cant really tell by the pic, anyway for you to get a larger picture for us to view?

its like right there at the end of the water tube thing like the water pump is at one end and at the other end its that.. looks like some type of sensor but with a spring
