Zsolt - I need to do the same this winter. What are they just steel plates bolted through the floor?

I'm going to quote Scott.

"Uhhhh.... no thanks"

Heck, I had to put 120# in the big PRELUDE just to run honda-challenge H2 weight of 2725. How much weight is that..

You are not allowed to be "creative" with adding weight. Per the GCR, weight can only be added in the passenger side floor board. However, it would be nice to add weight in all the right places via filling the cage

rollbar weight is very high up. the floor weight would be better I'd think. Assuming he already has a pretty good built cage which I think zsolt does.

The only reason Zsolt has to add that much weight is because he weighs 100# soaking wet holding a brick. They won't let him keep the brick in the car, and he keeps drying out.

Hahaha! That is very funny. You owe me a keyboard. (but only the left side, although some water got on the phone, too.)

From discussion on IT.com, there has been a FasTrack. I haven't personally looked for it, but that was stated by a member of the ITAC so I am pretty sure it happened.

I'm not sure you shouldn't be sure.

Is that 200 lbs or $200 like you typed. If it is $200 you seriously need to let me start prepping your car. I went to a shop and they gave me all the lead I could carry. Melt it down and pour into a pie tin. Done.

Go to any shop that mounts a lot of tires. They have buckets of it. Just ask if you can have a bucket. Granted, it is nasty work and you have to be careful but I am not buying lead. Get a really cheap pot, a cheap baking pan and a slotted spoon or something to pick the steel out with. I borrowed a crappy electric eye from a friend who had used it for the same thing. Obviously you do this outside and I wore a respirator and gloves. Throw some lead in the pot, let it melt, scoop out the steel, pore in baking pan. Repeat ad nauseum.

You might get him on board with the gloves thing, but it still sounds like he'd get dirty doing it. He hates that.

GSRs do need too much lead, but in Zsolt's case its wayyyy overboard.

The guy just added a bunch of cage and was still seriously short.

Of course, I tried to drive his car this summer, and after managing to get just my right leg and *** cheek into his seat (which is too big for him BTW) I gave up.

Is a lead driving suit legal? A lead suit might get Zsolt up to 150 (plus the brick).

Scott, who thinks Zsolt Da Matta needs to quit bitching and have a McRib or two.

What weight class are you trying to get in? How much does your car weigh without the lead?
