B18C GSR Strait up trade for D16Z6 need your tech knowledge
Heres the deal. 1992 Canadian CX Taking out my B18C GSR for the winter. Putting in 93 D16Z6. Swapped back in the D16 everything is wired up. Main relay and fuel pump wont kick on. Checked ECU and main relay on my bros B18C swapped car, both work. Put jumper instead of main relay (as per shop manual), fuel pump kicks on.

Check your grounds, check the fusebox (sometimes it shorts when you pull things out of it during a swap and blows main fuses), check the battery voltage.

The issue is fuel.
We tested the main relay, the computer and the fuel pump all seperatly and they all work.
When you turn the key on though with everything hooked up the fuel pump is not priming so were a little stumped.
TTT in an attmept to get my brother to work in his OWN car for wednesday.

hrm...i had the same problem. did you have to wire up anything to the ECU? check all your connections. also, check the ACG fuse under your dash. it should be under yellow top covering it or be right next to it.
ALSO check your fuse under your hood. it's the ECU fuse.

appears to be some sort of wiring flaw within the harness i assume.
I unplugged the engine harness checked plugs to make sure nothing was broken or loose. plugged it back in hooked up the battery and the pump kicked on.
so far so good for now.
